As the 2018 tourist season begins, CCVC is excited to have two new Visitor Services partners to assist in distributing visitor information throughout Carbon County. CCVC has expanded their current Visitor Services partners of the Valley Artisans (Baggs, WY) and the Rawlins Chamber of Commerce to include the Saratoga Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Medicine Bow Museum.
Many of these 2018 events are not yet in our calendar as final decisions on event times & locations are still being decided even though dates have been set. If you are looking for complete event information on upcoming events, also make sure to check out our calendar of events. We encourage you to contact event organizers to confirm details as event dates and times may change.

For the first time since 1918, a total solar eclipse is came to Wyoming. On August 21, 2017, the eclipse made its way across the beautiful Wyoming skies. Astronomers, eclipse enthusiasts and travelers from around the world convened in Wyoming to experience one of the most breathtaking sights on earth in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
