Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo: June 17-18, 2023
Join the fun as the Riverside-Encampment Lions Club presents the Annual Woodchoppers Jamboree & Rodeo. Held annually over Father's Day weekend, this action-packed weekend celebrates our valley's rich timber and ranching heritage. Morning Woodchopping events are paired with an afternoon of traditional Western Rodeo. The chips fly with logging competitions including the two-man handsaw, log throw and even a "Mad Logger" chainsaw throw! Rodeo enthusiasts love the thrill of traditional events including team-roping, saddle bronc, bull riding, and more. Kids activities include a sawdust pit, greased pole, mutton busting and plenty of excitement. In addition to the main woodchopping and rodeo events, visitors can browse the handicrafts of local vendors, enjoy delicious wood-fired barbecue, grab a piece of pie and sip ice cold beer or soda. The fun never stops at the Woodchoppers Jamboree and Rodeo.
